I Work Shadowed the VP of TecEX. TecEx provides importer of record services for companies who are shipping into a country where a local registered company is required to import goods. They are the most successful subsidiary of the largest VAT reclaim business in world VAT IT. During my time I was given the opportunity to sit through strategy meetings with high ranking managers, thereafter examine how these strategies will be carried through in terms of their financial success. This was done by drawing up Financial Impact models of the various projects discussed. I was also able to get insight into various international deals that the company is working on and go through the technical details of the transactions with the VP. He was able to give me technical breakdowns of the financial impacts as well as various qualitative consideration's they were facing with the International deal.

Over the second quarter of 2023 I have had the opportunity to open a call centre in South Africa focusing on outsourcing labour from South African students to New York City. This exposed South African students to invaluable international sales experience and ability to earn in foreign currency. I have taken on my first 10 employees and am intending to expand and grow this opportunity.
My experience selling financial products has developed my sales skills and my position as vice president has given me vital leadership experience and an ability to delegate effectively to achieve the best results.
