The Stellenbosch Connect Committee is responsible for organising the annual welcoming week and Vensters festival at Stellenbosch University.
As head of Finance and Sponsorships I was responsible for compiling the annual budget, preparation of all financial information, capturing all transactions on Oracle Cloud as well as cash flow management and the preparation of financial reports for the committee chairman and the Director of CSC.
Furthermore this role also required key stakeholder relationship management with entities such as Red Bull South Africa, South African Breweries, Cape Peninsula Beverages as well as ABSA bank.
