I was tasked with ensuring the academic staff are complying with copyright laws, the duties included:

Auditing the lecturers Moodle classroom to ensure that is no infringement.
Quoting licensing needed by the academic staff.
Filing quotations and invoices.
Create a spreadsheet for the finance function, so they can create a requisition.
Working with the payment function of finance to ensure all the required documents have been submitted.


My key takeaway from this experience is:

the soft skill I acquired at the copyright office, is being able to communicate and align the goals of those of the academic staff and those of the university.
