In my role across Treasury and General Ledger, my daily responsibilities included updating exchange rates on SAP, processing bank uploads, performing bank and GL reconciliations, preparing journals, handling foreign supplier payments, conducting VAT corrections, and maintaining accurate financial records. In Asset management, I support asset verification across sites and update the fixed asset register with disposals, transfers, and retirements. Through this work, I’ve developed strong technical skills in SAP, reconciliations, asset management, and audit preparation, while strengthening my analytical capabilities and attention to detail. The role has also improved my communication, organisation, and problem-solving skills as I regularly liaise with cost centre managers, resolve discrepancies, and support compliance with internal controls.
