Founder: Notes Share (2020)
Access to adequate education in South Africa is far from equal, and during the 2020 COVID-19 hard lockdown, this issue worsened exponentially. In light of this, I conceptualised and co-founded Notes Share: a peer-to-peer notes sharing platform, made by students, for students. All free of charge. After a successful launch in March 2020, we had over 12k site visits, 400 uploads, and over 2k registered site members. We were featured twice on national television (eTV) as well as radio. We also partnered with a local NGO, iSchoolAfrica, to extend our reach to those who truly stood to benefit.
