My prefect portfolio was to further implement the "matric - grade 8 buddies initiative". This allowed each grade 8 that was assigned a "matric buddy" to feel more welcomed into the new school environment by having a matric student to help them day-to-day as well as to answer questions they may have.

This 3 day programme entailed gaining an understanding of the audit work environment. Various team tasks and projects were assigned to us during this programme which allowed me to display my teamwork and presentation skills.

This 4-day programme gave me a deeper understanding as to what goes into running a business and its people and processes as well as the team environments and collaborations in each of the business's different sectors/branches. During the 4 days I was able to gain valuable skills and experience such as teamwork and collaboration, presentational skills, as well as strategic thinking.

I also took part in Investec's Pathfinder from the 11th Feb till the 12th Feb. Our team was assigned with a critical topic that we had to present on the last day of the programme which tested our critical-thinking abilities as well as our collective skills working together in a team.

I also did maths and science tutoring for XLMaths&Science from January 2021 till December 2023.
