The mentors were a very important part of res. I was in Dagbreek. So our role and responsibilities was to look after the new first years coming in, be there for them and show them how things work. To be a safe space for them while preparing them for these unknown and uncertain journey they going on now. Guiding them through res, through studies and through university life. Being there, being present and making a difference.
