As an AWCA student representative, my primary role is to serve as a bridge between the organization and the student community, advocating for the interests and needs of aspiring female chartered accountants. My responsibilities include communicating information about AWCA events and opportunities to students, advocating for gender equality and diversity within the accounting profession, organizing networking events to connect students with industry professionals, providing guidance and support to students pursuing a career in chartered accountancy, promoting AWCA membership and involvement among accounting students, gathering feedback from students to improve AWCA initiatives, and collaborating with other student organizations and professional bodies to enhance opportunities for female accounting students. Through my efforts, my contribute to the empowerment and advancement of women in chartered accountancy, fostering a supportive and inclusive environment for aspiring female accountants.
