I had the portfolios of sport and merchandise in my first year as house committee member. Sport required of me to run a team of representatives to effectively manage the sport of the residence in leagues with about 15 teams in total. In addition to this also managing the payments for the respective leagues. Merchandise required of me to take and place orders of clothing for the entire house including for newcomers for the start of the year. In my second year of house committee, I received the privilege of being treasurer. In addition to my normal duties (such as budgets, reimbursements and creating purchase orders), I also automated the process and admin duties of the treasurer by creating a rules and regulations document and automating some of the tedious admin tasks.
