As a teaching staff assistant (helpdesk assistant), I support lecturers and other staff at the Department of Financial Management at the University of Pretoria.

My responsibilities include receiving visitors at the department and helping with queries. I also do admin-related tasks such as organising and planning.

I get the chance to interact with people, create a positive work environment and learn to work with a team to deliver quality work. I enjoy being able to use my detail-oriented, organising skills to make a difference in my work environment.
