I took the job to kill time during the extremely long university holidays whenever I went back home to Pretoria. The restaurant was quite luxurious so being a waiter there was tough as one must be clued up on everything that pertains to the restaurant. I did 3 weeks of training before they sent me out onto the floor, which entailed serving food and beverages.
