I was a prefect at my boarding school which involved working with the other leaders to collborate on organizing events for the house, attending meetings, being creative, responsibility of working in the IT lab in shifts where we had to take responsibility for the usuge of the lab and its printing facilities.

By having been a self-employed photographer I've learned so much more than just improving my photography skills. It taught me how to think creative within each photoshoot location as well as improving my Lightroom editing skills. I also enjoyed the interaction with my clients and realised how important it is to put them on their ease in order for me to deliver good photos to them. At first I started with group photos and then later also took individual-, couple- and graduation photos.

The outreach involves going to schools (creche & high-school) in Mamelodi where we get the opportunity to assist the children with school work and spent time with them on an individual basis.

With this outreach we made food for a creche in Mamelodi and played soccer and other ball-coordination games with them.

Vice-Treasurer General

Within the society we had 6 departments of which I was elected to be the Vice-Treasurer General within the Treasury department. One of my responsibilities was to delegate tasks to two other Vice-Treasurer members as well as communicate with them in regard to their insights and progress on tasks. My role also included attending the EC member meetings, finding and communicating with suppliers, writing weekly reports of the Treasury department's progress, writing financial analysis and making budgets for each department within the society through arranging meetings with each one.
