Types of client industry involved in on my audit role:
1. CIB - Investment banking (private equity and Loans & advances)
a. Assessing the valuation methodology applied.
b. Independently assess the key inputs, and assumptions used by management in
the valuation which include market multiples, discounts applied etc
c. Conducted valuation calculations, such as DCF analysis, EBITDA and Multiple).; and
d. Valuations were then independently re-calculated by us using verifiable inputs and
compared to client’s valuation for reasonability.
e. Conducted evaluations on expected credit loss models implemented
over client loan books for the purposes of compliance with IFRS 9.

2.Regulatory Audit
a. Ability to apply Basel laws (banking laws and regulations) in testing of balance
sheet and capital adequacy. This included evaluating the adherence of bank returns
to the Prudential Authority directives.
b. Performed financial ratio analysis and going concern analysis. This included
interpreting and reporting on key figures.

3.Private bank group reporting
Reviewed financial statements and reporting packages as well as consolidation local
and foreign entities.

Assistant manager roles include among others:
Managing project work deliverable, quality and risk management, team leading, coaching trainees and junior staff members, setting up and managing project file, setting up timelines and deadlines, managing budget and project profitability, managing work‑allocation and resources, managing client relationship and expectations, perform detailed review of financial statements with supporting evidence, testing of controls, and performing risk assessment over different areas relevant for audit with appropriate relevant responses to address risks.
