I assisted in enforcing the use of Transversal and SITA contracts by ensuring compliance with internal control standard operating procedures and verifying the validity and utilization of existing contracts. My responsibilities included verifying Subsistence and Travel Allowance claims for accuracy in calculations and ensuring all supporting documentation was attached to requisitions. I conducted spot-checks and ad-hoc reviews to test the efficiency and consistent application of systems. Additionally, I checked requisitions for compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and acts, and verified the correctness of financial calculations, including the signing powers of delegated officials against financial delegations. I also communicated queries and findings to clerks to support continuous process improvement.
