I was selected for the school choir for 4 of 5 years and in 2019 we won a provincial level competition and was the only school to be selected to go to the national competition from the Western Cape.

For Voortrekkers, I completed the President's Verkenner award after 12 years of being a member and completing all required assignments and skill activities.

For 4 of the 5 years, I played for the schools first tennis team. I also played for the South-Boland tennis team in the area for a year.

For hockey, I was selected for the first team for 2 and a half years, while playing A-team for all 5 years and being vice-captain.

For the 2019 year, I was part of our Junior Town Council. Our main purpose was to find areas in the community that struggled and then to operate projects in the areas of need. Projects included the surrounding old age homes knitting clothes for the children in the community for the upcoming winter, raising funds to donate food to the local animal shelters and then to operate multiple awareness and small projects in our own schools as well.

As stated above, I received the President's Verkenner award in 2020. This is the highest award in the Voortrekker organization that any student can receive and only 250 students received it in South Africa and Namibia altogether in 2020.
For this award, I received my honorary colour's on my school blazer for leadership. I was one of 3 students in the past 30 years to receive this award at my school.

Awards: I was awarded with both residence and high school student council.
I was on the student council for both my residence and my high school. In both positions, planning and operating functions for the residence and the school was a high priority. Daily duties included supervision of fellow students and helping both students and teachers where necessary.

My responsibilities included preparing, writing and adjustments of wills and later on, advising where needed. Administration of business files, finances and administration of communications between clients, the Master and banks was also part of my responsibilities.
I assisted with estate responsibilities as necessary, attended meeting with clients and made sure that communication between client and applicable persons went smoothly.
I was also responsible for management of sourcing documents for the preparation of wills and meetings.

I applied to take over the residence tuck shop in my grade 8 year and operated it for the next 4,5 years. I expanded vastly and made it an entirely new concept and also providing buying hours before study time, during the breaks and after study time.

I was selected as part of the debate team for the residence. In my first year, I won the award for the best female Afrikaans speaker on the Potchefstroom campus.

As part of the SRCS committee, I have contributed and participated in multiple outreach projects. This included fundraising for students in need, donating clothes for barefootday, collecting food items for canned food day and our hostel also started with safety activities at a small local school to help and ensure the structures are in line with safety regulations.
